Lily Speed-O-Weave looms are classic
vintage looms that are no longer being
made, but can still be found second hand.
Sadly, the instructions are usually
missing, and the designs that are out
there for the Lily Speed-o-Weave looms are
really out of date and not aspirational at
all.
So, I have written this book to
showcase just how wonderful the Lily
Speed-O-Weave looms really are. The book
is in three parts. Parts one and two are
comprehensive how to's for different
wrapping, finishing and embellishing
techniques for both the hexagonal and
square looms.
Included are techniques that I have
invented for making additional shapes on
the Lily Speed-O-Weave looms so that
wonderful garments, accessories for
fashion and the home as well as darling
toys can now be made.
Part Three is a collection of 19 designs
for a coat, vest, stoles, shawls, capelet,
baskets, table runner, placemat, bags bags
bags, and darling toys. I've included a
page of the hex shape grid paper that I
use when designing so you can design your
own unique creations.
